Rachel Webster is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the School Psychology program at the University of Denver. Rachel pursued additional training in early childhood through courses, professional development, and training within the preschool setting. She also has clinical experience working with children to promote executive functioning, child-parent attachment, co-regulation, and emotional regulation.

Her research interests include increasing positive outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities through early intervention emphasizing self-determination and a relational approach. Rachel received her MA in School Psychology from the University of Denver and her BA from the College of Idaho. Her bachelor’s degree is in Psychology and Religious Studies.

Before moving to Denver in 2020 and starting graduate school, Rachel was a behavioral and habilitative interventionist for children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities. During this time, she gained foundational experience working with children, families, and educators to provide effective interventions within the home, school, and community settings.

After graduation, Rachel hopes to work in private practice while consulting with schools. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog Olive, watercolor painting, and spending time with loved ones.
