Kaitlyn is a masters student in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver where she is currently specializing in global mental health and trauma. Throughout her training, she has gained experience working with parents supporting children who are impacted by mental illness and diverse individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, relational distress, and life transitions.

Kaitlyn approaches therapy by bringing focus to the therapeutic relationship, centering safety, trust, and comfortability for her clients to engage in the work of unveiling and unraveling their truths. She aims to work collaboratively with clients to explore their relationship with themselves, others, and the world around them to gain a deeper understanding of their experiences. It is through this exploration that Kaitlyn believes distressing patterns and wounds are illuminated and may be tended to. She is eclectic in her theories, including relational theory, psychodynamic theory, internal family systems, attachment theory, and humanistic theory. She utilizes a multicultural and trauma-informed lens in her work and aims to personalize her approach to individuals.

Kaitlyn works with children, teens, parents, adults, couples, and families to provide healing. She has added focus in women’s mental health, life transitions, medical conditions, health psychology, and can offer CBT and trauma intervention (TF-CBT).

Kaitlyn values authenticity in her work and brings her personality, compassion, empathy, and humor into her practice. She honors the sacred space of the therapy room as well as the courage of those who enter it.
