Dr. Breanne Kline is a post-doctoral mental health clinician who works with children, teens, and families. She has both generalist training in clinical psychology, as well as a specialty focus in neurodevelopment and early childhood mental health. Dr. Kline can evaluate children and teens for autism, ADHD, learning differences, developmental delays, and social-emotional challenges. She also provides individual psychotherapy and caregiver-child (dyadic) therapy for a variety of concerns, ranging from emotional or behavioral challenges at home or school, trauma, grief and loss, changes in caregiving or family structure, anxiety and depression, challenges related to neurodevelopmental differences, life transitions, and more.

In therapy, Dr. Kline’s approach focuses on the attachments we form early in our lives that influence our behavior, thoughts, and emotional well-being. Through these early attachments, we build our sense of identity and learn how to be part of a family and broader community. Dr. Kline strives to create a collaborative therapeutic space, partnering with children and caregivers to enhance positive relationships, develop new skills, practice effective communication, build confidence, and achieve goals. In both therapy and assessment, Dr. Kline helps clients learn new things about themselves or their child. She believes that play and building strong connections with important people our lives are some of the most powerful ways we learn, heal, and achieve mental health and wellness.

Dr. Kline earned her Bachelor’s degree in Brain and Behavioral Science at Purdue University. She then earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Kline completed her pre-doctoral psychology internship in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, where she specialized in early childhood neurodevelopmental evaluations and trauma-focused therapy for young children and their caregivers. Throughout her training, Dr. Kline has worked in various clinical settings, including community mental health centers, hospitals, and private practices.
